The annual meeting of the Society for Cultural Policy Research in Finland was held on 3.4.2025. The meeting elected a new board for the society. The composition remained the same as in the previous term, but the roles changed. The society got a new board chair, and Sanna Karimäki-Nuutinen took over as Chair of the Board. Sanna Karimäki-Nuutinen, who lives in Seinäjoki, is finishing her PhD in cultural policy at the University of Jyväskylä. She is also active in contemporary art exhibition projects as a curator.
The Society for Cultural Policy Research in Finland warmly thanks Minna Ruusuvirta, a special researcher at Cupore who chaired the Board from 2022-2025 and will continue as secretary of the new Board. The other members of the Board are Mervi Luonila (vice-chair), Taina Laitinen, Helena Laukkoski, Aino Leppänen, Anna Kanerva, Jenni Pekkarinen and Sauli Okker.
